multicoloured mondays - 12
Dear dancers,
Since we had a lovely wafty dance last Monday, here's a lively one.
Stefan calls the dance 'Rhiannon's Wheel'. (It would be great for Hallowe'en!)
The story behind it is this:
In a legendary stone circle called 'Rhiannon's Wheel', Herne The Hunter appears in ghostly form every full moon on a great steed. He is horned, fearsome and rattles his great chains noisily as he rides, terrifying animals and humans.
In the dance you will see the points where - likewise - the dancers rattle their (imagined) chains vigorously.
Choreography by Stefan
Music is 'Rhiannon' by the outstanding band Faun from Germany
You can watch the video on YouTube.
