This dance was created by Stefan especially for a Moon Meditation dance evening at Om Tare dance centre in Brasilia. The music is a wistful song about missing the serene moonlight in Sertão, a region in the Northeast of Brazil.
The atmosphere is one of sweet nostalgia which Brazilians call 'saudade'. We adore and miss Brazil and our friends there.
Music 'Luar de Sertão' was composed by Catulo Paixao Cearense and is sung by Chitaozinho, Xororo & Simone.
Hint For Dancers. At the end of the instrumental passage (mid-song) fill the 2 extra beats with a slow sway to the R and L. Hope you enjoy the 'saudade'
