11 days of interactive practical workshops, exploring how the arts can help in conflict situations, and seed inner and outer peace. People may attend for all or part. Workshop numbers strictly limited to 16 people per session (some workshops 10 or 12) so early booking is advised. Those booking for several 2 or 3-day workshops get a discounted rate. This celebratory interactive day opens the festival. Learn songs and dances inspired by diverse world cultures. Experience a simple, joyful heart connection that bridges divisions. To participate requires no confidence or previous experience of dance (nor a partner). This intensive weekend workshop was developed specifically for use in situations where fear, difference or hostility makes it hard to unite people. No dance skill or experience is required. TRAUMA RELEASE MASSAGE : Norwich, UK
This is an original sequence of techniques Stefan has developed specifically for people with present or past trauma. Methods include cradling, rocking, assisted shaking and mobilisation, hand reflexology, working with the body's energy field, visualisation, pressure points and percussion with vocal release. This introductory session is participatory, working at times in 2s and 3s. It will be of interest to trained therapists and is also open to "non-experts". 10.30 am - 5.30 pm. Cost is £75. A week of dance, culture and peace in the Galilee. The Harduf community is run by Steiner people and has close links with nearby Arab villages.
