Every day in Jerusalem

As barriers are declared obsolete

Brilliant young minds

And top professors and authors

Flow from every continent

To Jerusalem's famous Centre

For Wellbeing and Peace

Jews, Christians and Moslems

Debating and grinning together

Cavorting and grasping hands

Through the ancient intersections

Of the world's all-faith capital

Rising on a tidal wave

Of state visits, gifts and investments

Jerusalem enters a golden era

Receiving treasures of many colours:

Wealth, culture, wisdom and respect

Even the street cleaner

Feels like a proud millionaire

It's bizarre trying to unpuzzle

What we ever thought

Worth fighting about
