Heart Matters

(Get to the heart of the things that matter)

Can I experience peace in my heart?

Is there solace for troubled times?

Can I accept myself with all my flaws?

Can beauty inspire me?

Can I feel safe, held and nurtured in a group whilst still being true to myself?

(The individual vs the group = potent theme)

Can my heart sing to music and dance?

Can a broken heart heal? A crusty heart open?

As we dance, we move into these questions and begin to answer them as fluidity, motion and rhythm restore the pained areas of our being. Connecting with others and with our innate joy we can find a way through the tragedies that isolate us.

In our dancing circle, heart matters above everything else.
